Important Notes:
Smoke detectors shall be installed and
functioning according to the latest adopted
edition of the International Fire Code and
the International Residential Building Code.
Smoke Detectors are required inside each
bedroom, one in the common area outside of
the bedrooms, and one on each level of the
home (including basements and accessible
attics.)
Property Address shall be visible according
to the latest adopted edition of the
International Fire Code and the
International Residential Building Code.
Letters/Numbers shall be installed on the
front of the structure so as to be fully
visible from the street **or**
on each side
of a mailbox installed at the curbline.
Numbers shall be minimum of 4" in height,
and shall be of a color contrasting from the
background. Reflective coatings are
highly recommended.
Sump pumps shall discharge to daylight.
At no time will discharges be allowed to
connect to the sanitary sewage system.
Appointments will not be made until the fee
is paid in full. Inspections are
performed on Tuesdays and Thursdays between
the hours of 9:30 am and 12:00 pm and 1:00
pm to 4:00 pm. You will be contacted
by the Inspector to schedule an appointment.
