Hatfield Borough has 5 parks located within easy walking distance of almost any neighborhood.
Centennial Park is a three-acre park located along Cherry Street. The park has been the focal point of many special occasions. Centennial Park is a cooperative project between Hatfield Borough and the Montgomery County Open Space Program to permanently preserve the ground as public open space and dedicated on June 27, 1998 on the 100th Anniversary of the Incorporation of Hatfield Borough. As you cross over the wooden bridge welcoming you into the focal point of park you will be greeted by a lighted gazebo surrounded by a landscaped garden, tree lined stone walking path and old fashioned lighted lampposts. You can enjoy a quiet picnic under the oak tree and walk to the monument that marks where a time capsule was buried on April 17, 1999 to be opened June 2048.

The Park at Heather Meadows
Towamencin Avenue
The Park at Heather Meadows located along Towamencin Avenue is filled with rich history and natural beauty. Currently under development, the land on which the Park and the Heather Meadows community stand was part of a tract purchased from William Penn in 1705. The original log building was disassembled and relocated in 1999. A hand-laid stone well remains as a landmark. The ten acres park area has been permanently set aside for open space and public enjoyment. A paved walking path winds past the spring fed pond, overlooking natural wooded areas, meadows and a tot lot.

Edgewood Park
Edgewood Drive
Edgewood Park is a one-half acre park located on Edgewood Drive. The peaceful surrounding atmosphere of the park and it's beautiful landscaping make it a park to get away to. The park benches are place so you can enjoy the hickory, oak, maple, and pine trees. The gardens are planted with lilac, azaleas and forsythia bushes.

Railroad Plaza,
Market Street and East Broad Street
Railroad Plaza Park is located E. Broad and Market Streets on one half acre of ground. The Park is a memorial to Hatfield residents who served in the nations wars.

Electric Plant Park,
South Main Street and Chestnut Street
The Electric Plant Park, formally Hatfield Borough's Electric Generation Plant Site is one half acre of professional landscaped property along Chestnut St. in front of the Hatfield Borough Office Building. The parks central focus point is a 12-foot gazebo. The gazebo and park are surrounded with flowerbeds, shrubbery, flowering and deciduous trees. The flowerbeds are planted with an array of tulips; lilies, daffodils, hyacinths, and black eyed Susan's for a spectacular spring show. A paved walking path runs through the park.
A new addition to the Electric Plant
Park was dedicated on June 28, 2008.
Seven "Service Memorials" were added to
the the park which also features a new
brick walkway leading to a pond-less
waterfall, a sitting wall, and three new
illuminated flagpoles. The base of
the flagpoles is the home to the 7
dedicated memorial plaques, each
honoring the 5 branches of the United
States Armed Forces along with our own
Police and Fire Departments.

Hatfield Community Park and Pool,
Chestnut Street, Hatfield Township (entrance off School Road)
Splash, shoot hoops, picnic, and more at this jointly held 25.6 acre park and pool complex. Hatfield Community Park and Pool has well served the Hatfield Community since 1965, when Hatfield Borough joined the Hatfield Township to build this hub for recreation activity.
