Rich Girard is a retired long-time Borough resident who graduated from LaSalle University with a Bachelor of Arts and MBA degree with a concentration in accounting. He also completed the corporate and professional requirements as a Certified Cash Manager and Certified Treasury Professional. His work background includes various management positions in the area of retail management, accounting, treasury and cash management, and financial computer systems integration. Rich serves as Chairman of the Utilities and HERC Committees and is a member of the Budget, Finance, and Labor Committee. Previously he was involved with the former Hatfield Area Little League as President and in various other capacities for 10 years and was an assistant scoutmaster for Pack 510 at Grace Lutheran Church.

Larry is a long-time Borough resident who has been active in the community as both a life member of a local fire company and as an assistant scoutmaster and merit badge counselor with a local Boy Scout Troop. He has served our community for over 16 years as both a past member of the zoning hearing board and currently serves on the Hatfield Borough Planning Commission. Born and raised in the North Penn area, James is serving his first term on Borough Council where he chairs the Public Works, Property, and Equipment Committee. His interest in public policy led him to degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from the American University in Washington DC. His varied background ranges from internships on Capitol Hill and a labor union, to a local brewery and law firms among other jobs. He currently works as a legal assistant, and enjoys spending time outside with his wife Danielle.

A longtime Borough resident, Michelle has been on the Planning Commission since 2005. She has worked in banking for over eleven years. She was also a manager while working there. She worked at Snyder’s during her teenage years and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, in West Virginia. She has a degree in Criminal Justice, from Lansdale School of Business. She currently serves on the Planning, Building, and Zoning Committee in addition to the Public Safety Committee.

She currently volunteers at Abington Lansdale Hospital in the Orthopedic Unit.
